Our Mission
At NohTV, we're on a mission to revolutionize the way people experience television. By merging cutting-edge virtual reality technology with traditional TV viewing, we're creating an immersive, social, and boundless entertainment experience that transcends the limitations of physical screens.
Our goal is to make television viewing more engaging, interactive, and communal, allowing people from all corners of the world to come together in virtual spaces and share their favorite shows and moments. All this, brought to you by one sleep-deprived developer with a dream and way too much coffee.

Nahom wears so many hats, he's considering patenting a hat rack for his desk chair. When he's not coding, he's designing. When he's not designing, he's debugging. When he's not debugging, he's probably passed out on his keyboard, dreaming of semicolons and virtual living rooms.
Our Journey
2020
NohTV was born in Nahom's studio apartment, right next to his laundry pile. The global pandemic inspired him to create more immersive entertainment, or maybe it was just the isolation talking.
2021
Launched the first beta version. Nahom celebrated by high-fiving himself and then immediately got back to work because the server crashed.
2022
Introduced social features. Nahom can now watch content with virtual friends, which is great because he hasn't seen his real friends in years.
2023
Rolled out support for live TV streaming and VOD content. Nahom's proud to push the boundaries of immersive entertainment, even if the only boundary he sees nowadays is between his desk and his bed.
Our Technology
NohTV leverages state-of-the-art VR technology to create lifelike virtual environments. Our proprietary streaming algorithms (lovingly coded by Nahom during his 3 AM coding sessions) ensure smooth playback of live content and immersive 360° environments.
We've also developed advanced social features that allow users to interact naturally in virtual spaces, mimicking the experience of watching TV together in the same room. Nahom's pretty excited about this, as it's the closest he's gotten to social interaction in months.
Our platform is compatible with a wide range of VR headsets, ensuring that as many people as possible can enjoy the NohTV experience. We're constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible in virtual reality, which mostly involves Nahom pushing himself to stay awake for "just one more commit".
